One of the rarest 'My Chemical Romance' collectibles
If you're here, you probably already know this comic is hard to find. But, just in case you don't ... let me tell you a little more about it. Gerard Way [the lead singer of the platinum-selling band My Chemical Romance] recently wrote the comic series the Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite. This series was published in 2007 and 2008 by Dark Horse Comics claiming it as his first comics work.
It turns out that it's not Gerard's first work. In fact, Gerard Way was first published many years ago [1994 to be exact] in his own series called On Raven's Wings. This was published by Boneyard Press and had a very small print run.
What makes this comic even hotter is that Hart Fisher, the publisher of Gerard Way's first comic, is claiming that Way ripped off his ideas and writings. This just happened last year and could snowball into an even higher-profile story before everything is said and done. Especially now that Gerard Way's other comic work (the Umbrella Academy) has been optioned for a movie.
I have a dwindling supply of these comics ... but you can't find this book anywhere else!
